Hi, my name is jan.
i am an illustration and tattoo artist based in stuttgart, germany.
i strive to create a unique illustrative style of tattoo designs that are valid within and outside of the tattoo context. images that convey meaning and emotion and bring a gentle smile onto your face. all i want is to make my designs ultimately touch on the beauty of life itself: genuine, joyful, bold.
for the past six years i have made my home in stuttgart at @studio.butterberg as well as having travelled through europe for tattoo work. i continue to explore my own spirituality and connection to life and try to forge those experiences into new illustrations and tattoo designs.
